Jennifer Connely has chosen to give birth in a way that seems more natural and less traumatizing for both mother and baby:
in a birthing pool. this is thought to be the best pick if the mother wants to give birth naturally, avoiding the risks
...She revealed last December she is expecting her third child.
But, on a day out with her family earlier this week, Jennifer Connelly appeared to be determined to keep her baby bump hidden.
Smiling as she joked around with husband Paul Bettany, and her two sons Stellan and Kai,
Connelly did her utmost to keep her burgeoning stomach concealed from view by clinging on to 13-year-old Kai.
Bettany also stood in front of Connelly in an attempt to hide her from photographers' view.
The 40-year-old actress looked blooming in a denim smock style top and black trousers, teamed with flats
and a pair of sunglasses as she and her brood stepped out in Tribeca, New York.
Back in December, Connelly announced she and Bettany were expecting a sibling for their seven-year-old son Stellan.
The Oscar-winning actress is also mother to 13-year-old son Kai from a previous relationship with photographer David Dugan.
Connelly and Bettany started dating in 2001 after co-starring alongside Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind - for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
They wed in a private ceremony in Scotland on New Year's Day 2003 and were joined by son Stellan the following August.

'It was like that with nausea,' she added with a laugh.
Connelly can soon be seen in upcoming movie Salvation Boulevard. Watch the trailer below.
