Kim Raver Feet - Greg's Anatomy

'Grey's Anatomy': Love 'em and leave 'em update for Teddy and Karev

Looking back on the doctors' dating history on "Grey's Anatomy," they would have plenty of reasons to stay single. Alas, that's no fun, though. Regardless, two developing relationships this season will probably soon fizzle out.

We've already seen Scott Foley's character, Henry, admit he sees more in Teddy (Kim Raver) than free access to health insurance.
She rebuffed his advances, but we're still unclear on whether she really feels that way or if she's trying to preserve her professional reputation. According to series creator Shonda Rhimes, there's nowhere for Henry to go, but out. "I love him and would keep him forever if I could," she tells TVLine.com.
"But on our show if you're not a doctor there's not a lot for you to do."

Teddy will probably have her hands full when the handsome James Tupper reprises his role as grief counselor, Andrew Perkins - Sorry, that's Doctor Andrew Perkins.

Foley is probably taking his "Grey's" exit in stride as he has signed on to get his MD in the CBS pilot, "The Doctor."

And, what of Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) burgeoning relationship with obstetrician Dr. Lucy Fields (Aussie Rachael Taylor)? That may be doomed, as well.

Taylor's shooting schedule for the much-buzzed about "Charlie's Angels" pilot will take her away from "Grey's" for a couple episodes, but she'll return for the season's final two episodes. After that? It's up to the TV Gods, but Rhimes is no stranger to what sells.

"I would love to keep Rachael Taylor forever," she tells TVLine. "She is delightful [and] so talented. But have you seen the 'Charlie's Angels' pictures? Those three gorgeous women strutting across the world in those white dresses? I can't really imagine that that show isn't going to get picked up."
