Sophie Turner was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1984, the youngest of four children. Turner was first

scouted at the age of 14, while she was on a suburban Adelaide beach. She was asked to enter a swimsuit

competition, which she won. Sophie was titled Australia’s ‘Miss Beach’ in 1997. In 2008, Turner earned a

Bachelor of Laws from

Flinders University of South Australia.
